2026-12 (August 2026-2)
Due for release week commencing 17 August 2026.
This release expands the number of custom fields available for cases and includes fixes that improve the accuracy of payroll and benefits data syncing, holiday entitlement calculations, and security.
New features
Case management further information field expansion
We've increased the number of further information fields available for the Case management add-on module: now up to 40 text fields and 60 date fields. Number fields remain at 20.
Benefits management future-dated updates
Future-dated job and pay changes are now included in the Benefits management add-on module, so upcoming pay changes show correctly ahead of time.
Fixes
Payroll management
- Personal details field sync: cleared fields now wipe the matching values in payroll consistently.
- Re-employed leavers: records now migrate correctly to an employee's newly archived payroll account when they're re-employed, rather than reinstating the previous one.
General
- Talent management review email links: now correctly take the employee directly to their review.
- Terms and conditions holiday entitlement: will no longer be changed incorrectly during bulk job and pay updates, spine or grade revisions.
2026-11 (August 2026-1)
- Due for release week commencing 3 August 2026.
- This release adds a new FTE Salary view on Job and Pay and lets you preview documents straight in your browser, alongside a set of fixes that improve the accuracy of holiday, absence and reporting data across HR.
New Features
FTE Salary on Job and Pay
- We've added a calculated FTE Salary field to Job and Pay detail > Pay details tab, showing what an employee would earn at full-time equivalent (Basic Pay ÷ FTE).
- This field is read-only and field security is controlled by the Basic Pay field permissions.
| Note: If you use the additional Languages feature, the new field is available in the Export for translation. |
View documents in your browser
PDFs and other browser-viewable file types now open for preview in your browser, making it quicker to check a document without waiting for it to save to your device. Further interface improvements to follow.
Fixes
-
Holiday taken and holiday left figures in the database/reports:
- No longer clear incorrectly after certain absences are approved.
- Mid-year starter entitlement now calculates correctly to match on screen figures.
- Leaver workflow: Holiday left figure now recalculates immediately when you change a user-entered holiday entitlement at the Holiday stage.
- Job and pay grade ranges: salaries for part-time employees (FTE below 1) are now checked correctly against grade ranges, so a valid salary no longer triggers a false pay range warning when saving a job and pay record.
- Mobile: field security now applies correctly to the Absence Hours field.
- Reporting master table: Reports table now includes custom reports as well as the standard system ones.
- Who's off charts: Half-day absences no longer show incorrectly as full days while awaiting verification.
Payroll integration
- Payroll management: records no longer get stuck mid-sync if the item they relate to is deleted before processing completes.
2026-10 (July 2026-2)
- Due for release week commencing 20 July 2026.
- A new holiday over-allowance warning for approvers on mobile, plus accessibility improvements and a handful of product fixes.
Improvements
- Holiday over-allowance warning on mobile: approvers now see a warning if approving a holiday request would take an employee over their remaining allowance. It appears on the verifications list and the request detail screen, and is advisory only, so it does not block approval.
Fixes
-
Accessibility:
- Person to view dropdown now closes with a single press of Escape, and screen readers correctly announce the search box.
- Subset filter button on pages such as See who's off and Insert bulk absence is now reachable and usable with a keyboard and screen reader.
- Audit log: the employee name dropdown on the filter form no longer collapses when you click it in a smaller browser window.
- Change holiday entitlement: now saves correctly when your role has hidden access to one or more fields.
-
CIPHRFLEXI: open-ended absences on this work pattern no longer get a duplicate day added when overnight housekeeping runs.
Note: This fix does not remove any existing duplicates which will need to be manually removed. -
Multi entity fixes for leavers and fixed-term contract employees with a job and pay end date:
- Bulk change: reassignment to another entity now applies successfully
- Org chart: entity restrictions now apply correctly where per user system config has been enabled
- SMCR: certification functions are now carried forward correctly to the new job and pay record when updating via Pay review.
