Your Q3 2026 HR release notes are here. We'll keep this page updated throughout the quarter as new fixes land. We only include notable defects that may affect our customers generally; customers will be separately notified of defect fixes specifically related to you via your customer care tickets.
2026-9 (July 2026)
- Due for release week commencing 6 July 2026.
- Performance and payroll integration improvements, plus a large list of defects resolved.
- Onboarding improvements for mobile are also included as part of this release. See 2026 Onboarding release notes for more details.
Improvements
- Org chart: performance improvement so large charts load more quickly.
- Mobile: When accessing a direct link in mobile view, if a mobile page exists this will now display instead of the desktop view for improved experience. Where no mobile page exists it will go to the desktop page as it did previously.
- Payroll integration salary events: future-dated job and pay records are now deferred by default in Payroll Management until the pay run period becomes current. You can use the new "Force Sync" action to push a deferred event manually.
Fixes
- Absence calendar: night-shift work patterns (shifts crossing midnight) now record correct, positive holiday hours.
- Allowance codes: the fixed amount setting on an in-use code is now preserved when you change and save other fields.
- Allowance rates: the Update button is now disabled after the first click to prevent duplicate allowances.
- Bulk change actions: items no longer disappear when an unrelated own field group is set to hidden.
- Bulk change actions: training records now have the option to select each employee’s department, rather than the department of the person creating the records.
- Events finder: employees with an apostrophe in their name (such as O'Brien) can now be nominated to events successfully.
- Job and pay: downloading a job description document no longer leaves the screen stuck on a loading spinner.
- Letter distribution: the document uploaded indicator now correctly shows a tick after a bulk upload.
- Licensing: the "Is SFTP User?" setting is now correctly cleared when a system administrator is removed, including when the user is retained for other licence roles.
- Payment codes: overtime-type codes with a fixed hourly rate in the code tables now use that rate correctly.
- Personal documents: enabling employee or manager access on a category with 1,000+ attached documents no longer times out.
- Policy groups: ceased jobs are now hidden in policy group configuration. Un-cease the job first if it needs to be added or removed.
- Subsets: users with a long full name no longer cause an error when loaded in the subset.
- Record group security: you can now update your own personal details even when your record group is set to hidden. Own field group security takes precedence when editing your own record.
- Spine increments: the success message now appears only after the update has finished, not as soon as you click Confirm Update.
- Talent management: review links in notification emails now directs to the specific review.
- Talent management: objectives job-holder read-only comment boxes can now be resized so you can view their full content.
- Welcome message: the "Suppress Message" toggle is now reliably visible at all screen sizes, including when a logo is configured.
