2025-2.1 release (July 2025)
AD connector sync setting for contact and work email
There are now two system configuration settings that lets you choose when a user’s email is synced for contact and work email address fields.
You may prefer one email to sync immediately so you have the work email on record, but delay the one used for logging in if the user needs to use their personal email for onboarding.
No action is needed if you're happy with your ADC current setup.

New AD connector sync setting
We’ve added a new system configuration setting that lets you choose when a user’s email is synced:
- Immediately (overnight sync) – current default behaviour
- On start date – new setting ideal for onboarders who log in with a personal email address prior to starting employment
No action is needed if you're happy with your ADC current setup
