Understand what chaser email alerts do
Chaser email alerts help prompt candidates to complete their applications before a job closes.
- Chaser email alerts are sent to candidates who have started but not completed their applications
- These alerts notify candidates that a role is closing soon and encourage them to submit their application
| Note: Chaser emails are only sent to candidates with incomplete applications who have not been anonymised |
Check the timing and permissions for chaser emails
Chaser emails are sent based on the job closing date and system permissions.
- Chaser emails are typically scheduled to send 48 hours before the job closing date
- The Status Chaser toggle controls whether chaser emails are enabled for recruiter roles
- The Status Chaser toggle can be enabled or disabled in the Admin Portal for recruiter roles. If you do not have access to this section, you can raise a ticket with Customer Care, who can assist
| Important: If a candidate has been anonymised due to data retention policies or lack of consent, they will not receive chaser emails |
Understand behaviour for closed jobs
- If a job is closed and candidates were anonymised before the chaser email was due, no chaser email will be sent
