This guide explains how to reset a recruiter's password in the iRecruit Admin Portal.

Introduction
From time to time, some users of the Recruiters Portal may forget their password or enter incorrect login details multiple times, causing their account to become locked. In these cases, a new password can be easily created using the Admin Portal.
How to reset a Recruiter's password

Log in to the Admin Portal.

Navigate to Users > Recruiters
- Search for the user in question
- If the user's account is locked, a padlock icon will appear next to their name

Click on the user’s name to open their account

Scroll down to the ‘Password’ section, enter a new password, and confirm it in the field below

Continue scrolling to the Account Lock Status section and, if the account is marked as locked, click ‘Unlock’

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click ‘Save’

⚠️ Important: No notification is automatically sent to the user, so the new password will need to be shared with them manually
First login
- When the user next logs into the Recruiters Portal using the temporary password, they will be prompted to create a new password. This will become their ongoing login password.
