Introduction
iRecruit can have a library of 'Competency Questions' which allows a job owner to choose from a library of questions which they would like to include on a specific job. The library of questions is maintained using the admin portal.
How to add a new Competency Question
- Log into the Admin Portal using your credentials.
- Click ‘Shortlisting’
- Click ‘Competency Questions’
- Here, you will see a list of ‘Competency Questions’ currently stored in the library
- Enter the question into the ‘Question Field’
- Select the ‘Question Type’ from the dropdown picklist
- Choose the desired ‘Display Order’ to determine where the question appears
- Set the ‘Default Checked State’ if applicable. (This setting determines whether the question is defaulted to ticked or unticked, to be included in a job role during the job creation process within the ‘Recruiters Portal’)
- Click ‘Save’ to apply and store the changes
How to delete a Competency Question
Competency Questions can only be deleted from the system if they have not been used in any previously created jobs.
- From your list of 'Competency Questions', click ‘Delete’ next to the question you wish to remove
How to edit a Competency Question
- From your list of 'Competency Questions', click the question that you wish to edit
- Make the desired changes
- Click ‘Save’ to apply and store the changes
| Note: Changes to this question will impact all previously submitted applications that included it. |
