Payroll (Accord)
Step-by-step guide
Introduction
This guide walks you through the work around for not being able to copy and paste files to and from our hosted payroll service. This is a temporary workaround whilst we work to resolve this issue permanently.
Steps
Go to the remote desktop > File Explorer > C:Drive
Create a folder 'Payroll'
Copy the file from the T:Drive and paste it to the newly created 'Payroll' folder in C:Drive on the remote desktop.
Then go to the local File Explorer (on your computer not from the remote desktop) > C:Drive > find the 'Payroll' folder > the document will be in there.
Mac OS
If you are using Mac OS please use the below guidance to configure Folder Redirection in the Windows App for MacOS:
- Open Windows App.
- From the macOS menu bar, select Windows App, then select Settings.
- Select the General tab, then for If folder redirection is enabled for RDP files or managed resources, redirect:, select Choose Folder....
- Navigate to the folder you want to be available in all your remote sessions, then select Choose.
Saving Copied data
If you are having difficulty copying and pasting data from the system please try below.
