- Open the employee's record and go to Job, Pay & Reward > Payments.
- Confirm the relevant bonus entry has been recorded.
Map bonus fields to your letter
- Go to Employee Communications > Letter Library & Distribution.
- Open your existing salary review letter and select Edit Properties.
- Check the Page the template is linked to as this needs to show Personal Payment Information
- If it's not linked to Payments, this can't be changed on the existing letter. You'll need to create a new Letter/Document template with the Payments template area selected instead.
- In Edit mappings, select the Amount field from the Personal Payments table to link the bonus figure.
- Preview the letter to check the bonus payment appears as expected.
| ⚠ Important: the Page a letter template is linked to can't be switched after creation, letters can only pull from one area at a time. See Pay review and bonus letter options for the full comparison of what each area gives you access to. |
