Your Q2 2026 LMS release notes are here. We'll keep this page updated throughout the quarter as new fixes land. We only include notable defects that may affect our customers generally; customers will be separately notified of defect fixes specifically related to you via your customer care tickets.
2026-5 (June 2026)
Due for release week commencing 29 June 2026.
Improvements
Reporting quality-of-life
This release includes a set of reporting improvements from our quality-of-life roadmap, making it easier to get the data you need in a single export.
- Due dates visible in reports regardless of completion status: due dates for programmes and activities now appear in reports whether the record is complete or still in progress, making it easier to evidence when training was due versus when it expires.
- Leaving date added to the activity results detail report: the export now includes a leaving date column, so you can identify and filter leavers directly within a single export.
- Detailed answer report timestamps: each row in the detailed answer report now shows the date and time each question was answered, rather than a single timestamp for the whole submission.
Performance
This release includes ongoing work from our performance roadmap to make the LMS faster and more responsive.
- Database operations: optimised core database operations for searching, saving and deleting data, reducing CPU load and improving overall responsiveness.
- Text searches: text searches within the LMS - for instance when searching for an activity or user - are now faster. (TECH-2200)
General
- 180 Skills Analysis housekeeping: a new automated process clears out incomplete 180s where the assigned manager has since left the organisation, keeping Skills Analysis data clean and accurate. (TECH-1549)
- Mentor/mentee meeting validation: added validation to ensure meeting dates fall between the previous and next meeting in the sequence. (TECH-1835)
- On-the-job activity launcher: searching now runs significantly faster, addressing an issue where searches could fail for managers with large teams. (TECH-2103)
- Reconnect with declined mentees: mentors now have an option to remove a decline from a mentee and reconnect with them. (TECH-1835)
Fixes
- Assessment deletion: deleting a newly created empty assessment no longer incorrectly marks related assessment data as deleted. (TECH-2102)
- Carousel widget: the "Due Dates Only" filter now applies correctly when programmes are selected, displaying only assigned content with an active due date. (TECH-1919)
- Community groups: fixed an issue where users could not create posts in community groups. (TECH-2058)
- Journey launch button: the launch button in journeys now consistently runs the activity and bypasses the activity details pop-up, except for activities set to manual completion. (TECH-1990)
- Log out button: renamed from "Logout" to "Log out" for consistency across applications.
- Mentor/mentee meeting dates: fixed an issue where meeting dates could not be updated. (TECH-1835)
- Mentoring timeline: fixed an issue where a vertical scrollbar was incorrectly displayed on the mentoring timeline. (TECH-2060)
- Report filters: a display issue affecting report filters introduced in the previous update has been resolved. (TECH-2126)
- SAT imports: SAT imports now use a dedicated timeout (default 90 seconds) instead of the global transaction timeout, reducing failures for large imports. (TECH-2003)
- Skills Analysis radar chart: the chart now displays a message when there are not enough categories or data, rather than showing a loading spinner. (TECH-1985)
2026-4 (May 2026)
Due for release week commencing 18 May 2026.
Fixes
- Assessments: Random assessments would score incorrectly when re-attempted. This is now fixed. (TECH-789)
- Assessments: Fixed an issue where the assessment editor only showed the first few questions of an assessment, even though additional questions existed and would appear when the assessment was taken. All questions are now visible in the editor.
- eLearning content: Resolved an issue where replacing eLearning, pre-course assessment, or post-course assessment content could fail silently when the SCORM package contained very long internal file paths. Most uploads were unaffected, but customers with deeply nested content were impacted without any error being shown. (TECH-1987)
- Profile pictures: Fixed a visual issue where user profile pictures displayed an error icon instead of the user's initials when no image was set. (TECH-1584)
Integrated interface
- Learning activity details: Fixed an issue where long short-description text was cut off on the learning activity details page. The full text is now displayed correctly. (TECH-1383)
- Journey page editor: Buttons in the journey page editor header were not clearly visible. They are now more prominent. (TECH-1814)
- Portal content editor: The save button in the portal content editor header was missing its background colour. Buttons are now more visible. (TECH-1813)
2026-3 (April 2026)
- Due for release week commencing 27 April 2026
- A set of fixes that improve day-to-day use. The more notable ones are listed below.
Fixes
- Assessment settings: When the passed/failed text field is left empty, saving and reloading the assessment editor will no longer uncheck the Score This Assessment setting (TECH-1771)
- Course details - manual completion: When an activity is set to manual completion, the activity details window will always show after closing the activity, so you can update the completion status (TECH-1742)
- On-the-job activities: Page load times for OTJ activities have been improved and auto search has been turned off to reduce loading time (TECH-1643)
- Text editor: The font colour palette is now available across all text editors in the LMS (TECH-1644)
Integrated interface
- Close button: The close button on schedule details and config settings pop-ups was difficult to see - colours are now applied correctly and the button is clearly visible
- Manage Training Records: The month navigation arrows in the date picker were invisible against the background - this has now been fixed (TECH-1639)
