Personality assessments

The personality assessment is the foundation of everything in MyTeamBuilder. It takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and produces a rich psychological profile for each team member.

What the assessment measures

MyTeamBuilder uses four key personality dimensions to reveal how people naturally think, work and connect with others. These dimensions are represented visually in the Colour Wheel - a team-level view showing how individual personalities combine.

Detail vs vision: Does this person thrive on precision and process, or are they energised by big-picture thinking?
Collaboration vs focus: Are they energised by group work and connection, or do they prefer deep, independent focus?
Structure vs flexibility: Do they prefer clear processes and plans, or do they work best with freedom and adaptability?
Pace & energy style: How does this person process, communicate and make decisions under pressure?

Tracking assessment status

From the admin view, you can see the assessment completion status for every member across all teams. Members who have not yet completed their assessment are highlighted, and you can resend the invitation email directly from the dashboard.

Note: Team insights and the colour wheel are most meaningful when the majority of team members have completed their assessments. Encourage completion early in your rollout.
