Step-by-step guide
This guide explains how to search for applicants in the recruitment system, including using multiple search criteria.

Basic search
To perform a simple search for an applicant:
- Towards the top right hand corner of each tab you have the option of searching for an Applicant
- Type into the Search field the name of the applicant
- Click Search for an Applicant
- The system will display all matching applicants
- Regardless of your current tab, the system will automatically redirect you to the My Candidates tab to display the results
Advanced search (using multiple criteria)
To refine your search using specific fields:
- Leave the Search field empty
- Click Search for an Applicant
- Use the criteria options to search using one or more of the following fields:
- Surname
- Forename
- Status
- Applicant Reference Number
- Email Address
- Starred Candidates
- Click Search Database
- The system will display all applicants matching the selected criteria
