A deeplink is a link that takes a user straight to a specific piece of content (in this case, a specific LMS Plan, Journey, or Activity) rather than to a general homepage or dashboard.
This guide explains how to deeplink to Ciphr LMS content from Ciphr Onboarding journeys, and what to consider regarding LMS assignments and restrictions. It is intended for HR administrators and onboarding coordinators integrating learning content into onboarding processes.

Learning journey/plan deeplinks
- Navigate to Admin > Manage Training > Manage Learning Journey / Manage Learning Plans
- Select the journey you wish to link to and click Edit
- Click on the Copy button next to the Deep Link
- Now add your link to your Onboarding journey
Learning activity deeplinks
- Navigate to Admin > Manage Training > Manage Learning Activities
- Search for the activity you wish to link to and click Edit
- Click on the Copy button next to the Deep Link
- Now add your link to your Onboarding journey
Adding the link to your Onboarding journey
- Go to HR > Onboarding > Content Management
- Locate the tab that you want to edit and click Edit Content
- Use the Insert > Hyperlink option in the editing toolbar to paste the link
- Click Save

How assignments and restrictions affect the linked content
Users will only see the Plans, Journeys, or Activities they have been assigned in the LMS.
