Step-by-step guide
This guide will show you how to assign a learning activity to a group of users or individually.

Overview
A Learning Activity can be assigned using the organisational structure filters. Activities can be assigned to specific roles and/or groups of users.
Assigned activities can be viewed by navigating to Learning > Learning Library. Select Assignments under My Learning and Activity under Training Type. This allows a user to quickly search for assigned content.
Note: All users will still be able to access the activity, but only assigned users will be able to access the activity through Assignments in the Learning Library. |
- In the menu, navigate to Admin > Manage Training > Manage Learning Activities to open the Manage Learning Activities page
- Enter the name of the activity in the Search field or use the Library Filters and select the Search button to search for the learning activity. Select the Reset button to reset the search filters and perform a new search
- Select the Edit button for the learning activity to open the Manage Learning Activity page
- Select the Restrictions and Assignment tab
To assign to a group of users
- Select the Add button under Assignment
- Add a Name and then select the area that this applies to via the Organisation Filters dropdown list
- Further fields will then appear, based on the Organisation Filter that you selected
- Once all the fields have been completed, click Add
- The Assignment will then appear and you can make changes by selecting the Edit button or you click on the Delete button to remove the restriction
To assign to an individual user
- Click on the Add button under Individual Assignments
- Search for the user by clicking on the Keywords field and typing their Name, Personal ID or email or use the Team Filters that appear when you click on the Keywords area or on the Filter button
- Click Search
- Select the Add button against the user(s) you wish to assign the activity to or click Add All if you would like everyone from the search results
- All selected users will then move to the Selected area
- You can delete any individual users by clicking on the cross next to the name or delete all selected users by clicking on the Remove All button (large cross on the right hand side)
- You can perform multiple searches to select additional users
- Select Update
