This guide shows you how to assign or update Benefits Levels for one or multiple employees in HR, and how these changes sync to the Benefits platform.
Contents
Individual updates
You can set the Benefits Level for one employee at a time either via:
Personal Details > Employment Details > Benefits
Data Management > Benefits Management
- From any tab, search and click the toggle against the employee you want to update
- Click Assign Level
- In the dialog, pick the Benefits Level from the dropdown. The list shows all Benefits packages configured in your Benefits system
- Click Assign
- The Success dialog tells you how many employees have had a level assigned, and the level will be listed in the Benefits Level column
| Note: The change is treated like any other field change: it will be picked up on the next sync cycle and queued for delivery to the Benefits platform. Changing the Level on an already-synced employee will move them to the new package on Benefits. |
Bulk updates
Multi-select
- You can follow the steps in the previous section via Data Management > Benefits Management to multi-select employees or click the top toggle to 'select all' to update employee levels in bulk
Subset group
- If you wish to select a particular group of employees via options beyond the on-screen column filters, you can use the Subset tool in the top right
- Select a tab within Data Management > Benefits Management
- Click on the Subset tool icon and then create a subset of records
- Click Complete within the subset and then go back to the relevant tab where the users will be listed
- Click on the top toggle to select all users
- Click Assign Level
- In the dialog, pick the Benefits Level from the dropdown. The list shows all Benefits packages configured within your benefits system
