This guide shows how employees synced between HR and Benefits can be automatically processed as a benefits leaver when updated in the HR Leaver Workflow Wizard, and what happens when an employee leaves or rejoins the organisation.
Leavers are processed through the normal HR leaver workflow - you do not need to do anything benefits-specific:
Go to Starters & Leavers > Leavers > Leaver workflow in HR and process in the usual manner
The integration picks up the leave date as a normal change and sends it to Benefits
The Benefits platform applies the leave date to the employee's benefits coverage. Once that date has passed, the employee is removed from the active benefits population
If a leaver is later re-employed, their Benefits record is restored. The Job Title carried over is whatever was on the leaver's last Job & Pay record - this is intentional, on the basis that the re-joiner will normally be given a new Job & Pay record afterwards.
