"Absence not showing on see who's off - company"
"Absence missing from whos off"
Query
Absence has been recorded but is not showing on either the see who's off - manager team view or see who's off - company charts.
Answer
Absence not appearing on the see who's off pages is usually driven by the configuration of the absence code. An HR user with appropriate permissions can check the configuration.
How to fix it
1 - Check the absence code restriction
Go to Data Management > Code Tables > Absence – Absence Codes and search for the absence that is not appearing on the who's off chart.
Click into the absence code and review the selection in the Self-Service Restriction / Restriction field. Ensure this is set to an appropriate level of access for the employee to review.
Once selected, click Update.
2 - Check the "On Who's Off" settings
- Ensure the On Who's Off? slider has been selected for manager team view
- Ensure the On Global Who's Off? slider has been selected for company view
Once selected, click Update.
3 - Check the Colour
Ensure the Colour is populated and is not the same colour as any other absence code you have configured.
Once selected, click Update.
4 - Check Multi Entity configuration
If the Multi Entity function is enabled in your system, you will also need to check the absence code has been assigned to the employee's Entity.
Go to Job, Pay & Reward > Job and Pay, search for the employee, click into the current Job and Pay record, and note the value held in the Multi Entity field.
Then go to Data Management > Code Tables > Absence – Absence Codes, search for the absence code, and select Multi Entity.
Click onto each Entity box where the code should be enabled.
Once selected, click Update.
