The Talent Management module enables you to record employee objectives and align them with your organisation objectives, establish a succession plan for roles in your organisation, analyse the development needs of those in the succession planning and analyse the “flight risk” of employees.
To configure Company Goals
- Go to the following area:
- Latest (left-hand) menu: Performance & Development > Performance & Development Configuration > Company Goals
- Pre 2025 menu: System > Talent Management Configuration > Company Goals
- The screen will display any Company Goals that have already been set up showing the date that they were set. If they have been completed, the screen will display the completed date, any notes and whether the goal has been enabled
| Note: If the goal is not enabled (displayed as “False”) then the goal cannot be selected and linked to an employee objective. |
- Click Insert New Record

Enter a Description, Date Set, Notes (as required) and determine whether the goal is to be Enabled
- Click Update
- Once you have entered and enabled your company goal, you will be able to select it when you are inserting a new objective for an employee. In this way the objective can be associated with the company goal

| Note: It is advisable to mark a goal with a Completed Date and make it no longer enabled so that the goal is not inadvertently used on an ongoing basis |
