Timesheet Project Types enables projects to be grouped by a type.
To create a Timesheet Project Type
Go to the following area:
- Latest (left-hand) menu: Timesheets > Timesheets Configuration >Timesheet Project Type
- Pre 2025 (top) menu: System > Timesheets > Timesheet Project Type
The screen will display any project types that have already been created.
- Click Insert New Record
- Enter a Description as required.
- If your system has an option for Customers, choose the customer names that are to be linked to this project type.
- Project Grouping – the drop-down list is created on the Project screen. Multiple Project Types can be associated with a Project Grouping. This determines the group of projects that will be available to the user completing a timesheet when this Project Type is selected.
- Activities – This is the list of activities which are available to the user to select for this Project Type.
- Click Update
