This guide will show you how to create a Timesheet Activity. In this area, activities can be defined which may then be attached to a Timesheet Project Type. These can then be selected by the user when entering time against a project.
To create a timesheet activity
- Go to the following area:
- Latest menu: Timesheets > Timesheets Configuration > Timesheet Activity
- Pre 2025 menu: System > Timesheets > Timesheet Activity
- The screen will display any activities that have already been created
| Note: The activities of Lunch, Bank Holiday, Working, Non-working are standard activities. |
- Click Insert New Record
- Enter a Code and a Description as required
- The Working slider specifies if time against this activity is classified as working time when entered in the timesheet
- Colour - choose a colour to represent that activity
- Click Update
| Note: Ceased can be used to disable use of a Timesheet Activity, but this is not available on the standard activities. |
