This new report shows employee details alongside key gross-to-net values, gross pay, tax, and similar, with payment element and deduction totals broken down by Company Pay Element type. It is available in JSON, CSV, and XLSX formats.
 

Payroll Cloud now records whether a P45 was issued by the system or carried over from a previous payroll. This prevents externally-sourced P45s from being re-submitted to HMRC via FPS when migrating leavers whose departure was already reported by a prior payroll provider. Import files can now include an optional P45 Issue Date, which is stored against the record where provided.
 

• Excel reports no longer open with an error dialog on download.

• Reducing balance loans: Loan deductions could be credited back to the balance more than once when a loan was paused or closed while multiple pay runs were open simultaneously for the same employee. This left the remaining balance overstated. The fix ensures the credit-back is applied exactly once, regardless of how many pay runs are open.

New feature (beta) - Occupational parental pay

Cloud now supports occupational parental pay (OPP). Employers can configure OPP schemes to pay above the statutory minimum during maternity, paternity, adoption, and other parental absences, with full control over how occupational pay interacts with statutory entitlements.

Key capabilities included in this release:

• Whole-weeks calculation: OPP is calculated on a whole-weeks-only basis, aligned with statutory disbursement timing.

• Offset and cap controls: schemes can be configured to offset or cap occupational payments against the statutory amount at the entitlement level, including for non-full-week entitlements.

• Configurable daily rate divisor: the daily rate divisor (364 or 365) is configurable per scheme.

• Statutory pay dates: statutory pay lines now include payment dates on the payslip. 

General release

Audit Log - Originating Request: The audit log event detail view now shows the originating request, making it easier to trace what triggered a payroll event.

Journal Configuration Copy: Journal configurations can now be duplicated via a copy button, reducing setup time when creating similar configurations.

Deduction Order Received Dates: Missing received date tags are now shown for payments where multiple deduction order entries have an empty received date.
