This guide explains the system configuration options available for the add-on Case Management module.
You can update the case type prefix used across case numbers and configure a default contributor access period, ensuring consistent naming conventions of case numbers and appropriate access control.
- Navigate to System Configuration > System Configuration.
- Locate the configuration group named “Case Management.”
Case type prefix
- Find the setting for the case type prefix (default is Ciphr).
- Update the prefix to your preferred value (eg Case).
- Click Update to save your changes and apply the new prefix
| Note: Only one case prefix can be configured, and it applies to all cases. |
Contributor access expiry days (optional)
- In the same section, set a default number of access days for contributors. This ensures that each time an employee is added as a contributor, the system automatically assigns a standard access duration (eg 7 days). This value can be adjusted if needed when adding the employee.
