This guide explains how the DEI (Diversity, Equality and Inclusion) dashboard does not display cohorts (groups) of employees of five or less to protect anonymity of potentially sensitive data.
DEI confidentiality safeguard
- The DEI dashboard offers a holistic view of your organisation’s key performance indicators (KPIs) through diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) lenses. It enables you to see how KPIs vary across different demographic cohorts, helping you better understand trends, disparities, and opportunities for improvement within these important groups.
- At the top of each DEI Dashboard a message is displayed
- A cohort refers to the group or category by which data is segmented (eg gender, ethnicity, age group)
-
This rule is in place to protect employee privacy and prevent individuals in sensitive demographic groups from being inadvertently identified
How it works
- When viewing combined groups where the total headcount is greater than five, overall totals will be shown
- However, when data is broken down into individual cohorts, any group with five or fewer employees will display as blank
- Additionally, employee-level detail views (drill-throughs) are not available in the DEI dashboards, for the same reason: to safeguard individual identities
- For more information on navigating the dashboards please refer to the Analytics dashboards overview guide
