Introduction
When an employee joins it is useful to know what the source of their recruitment was so that you can monitor the success of your sources. The code table can hold details of your preferred supplier list, other external recruiters and job boards, together with relevant contact details for those organisations and information relating to areas of expertise
| Note: Not all the detail in this code table needs to be completed. If there is no requirement to use it as a directory of sources, but just to monitor the sources, then a Code and Description is all that is required. |
Recruitment Sources
- Go to the following area:
- Latest (left-hand) menu: Data Management > Code Tables
- Pre 2025 menu: System > System Administration > Code Tables
- From the Group choose People and then select the Recruitment Sources table
- The screen will display all the existing codes
To create a new Recruitment Source
- Click Insert New Record
- Complete the details to the extent required
- Click Update
To edit a Recruitment Source
- Go to the Recruitment Source code table
- Click on the source to be edited
- Change the details to the extent required
- Click Update
To delete a Recruitment Source
- Go to the Recruitment Source code table
- Click on the source to be deleted
- Click Delete
| Note: If a Recruitment Source has already been used, it can not be deleted. |

Note: The Type field presents options from a system picklist and the contents cannot be changed. The Title field presents options from the Titles code table. |
