Understand how Last Completed Date is calculated
A learner's Training History lists each activity with its Result, Result Date and who last updated it.
The Last Completed Date is set to the most recent Result Date where the learner's result is one of: Attended, Complete, Failed, or Passed.
If there is no qualifying completion record, and the current result is one of the completion statuses, the Result Date for that record is used.
If no completion status exists, the Last Completed Date remains blank.
| Note: Changing the Date Started field does not affect the Last Completed Date. |
Amend the Result Date for a training record
- Locate the learner's training record via Admin > Manage Training > Manage Training Records
- Check that you have permission to edit the Result Date field before clicking on the Edit button
- Update the Result Date to the correct completion date
- Save your changes
| Important: If the learner's result isn't set to a qualifying completion status, updating the Result Date won't update the Last Completed Date. |
Check the report
- Select Reports > Reports
- Select the relevant report from the Report Type dropdown ie. Activity Results Details which shows individual user statuses and result dates for each activity
- Run the report and confirm the Last Completed Date has updated as expected
If it hasn't updated, check the learner's result status is set to a recognised completion status. If it still doesn't update after that, contact Ciphr support.
