The Dashboard provides an easy to read summary snapshot of selected data within Ciphr.

Overview
The Dashboard view can be configured by selecting from a range of predefined widgets to determine what information is displayed, where and how. Widgets can also be created to display RSS feeds for example and bespoke information can be displayed if required.
To display the Dashboard
- The Dashboard, once configured and saved, will normally be visible on login
- If you want to display the Dashboard at any time click Dashboard or click on the organisation logo at the top

To set up your Dashboard
- When you first open your dashboard it will be empty.

Tip: Click to follow the in-app guide on how to add widgets to your dashboard. This guide will show you the standard dashboard widgets and what information each of them present.

With the Dashboard on screen click on the cog icon which is at the top of your screen

This will expand the Dashboard tools
- Click on the plus sign to open the widget selector
- From the dropdown list select the widget that you want to display and then use the sizing image to scale the widget to the size required. You can not size smaller than the configured size which is denoted by the red dotted lines or larger than the green lines.
- Click Add
- The widget will be displayed on screen and can be moved to the desired position but clicking and dragging the widget
- Continue to add widgets as required until your dashboard is complete and then click on the tick icon to save the dashboard
- The cross icon will clear the entire Dashboard
- The cog icon toggles the Dashboard tools on and off
- If you have added a widget and then wish to clear just that widget use the dustbin icon which appears in the top right of every widget displayed on screen

Notes: Some of the widgets may display with a padlock on them. This indicates that the data is sensitive. Widgets can be configured to display as locked For more details on the configuration of Dashboard Widgets see the linked help guide. It is important to remember to click on the tick icon to save your dashboard widgets selection and any subsequent changes must also be saved. |
