This article explains how to prepare employee Pension Auto Enrolment (AE) data before running the Pension Re-Enrolment Utility in Accord Payroll. For background on how Auto Enrolment works in Accord Payroll, see Pension Auto Enrolment Functionality.
| ⚠ Important: the Pension Re-Enrolment Utility can only be run once and cannot be repeated. Before you start, make sure all current employees' Pension AE fields are populated correctly. |
Create an Employee Table template showing the current AE status for all employees (for general guidance on this feature, see Employee table - creating a report):
- Select Home > Employee Table > New.
- If an AE Data template is already available, select Exclude all leavers and Open.
- If this option isn't available, create it by selecting Add New.
- Select Surname and Add to move it to the right-hand side.
- In the search bar, type AE to select all Auto Enrolment fields.
- Select Save As to save the template in the Pre-defined column sets list. Do not change the location, then close.
- Select the template you've just created from the Pre-defined column sets list and Open.
The table will show the Auto Enrolment details for all employees. Check that the AE Status fields are populated, none should be blank. If any fields are blank, update the relevant employee record.
Once you're happy the data is correct, you can start the re-enrolment process. See Pension Re-Enrolment Utility for the next steps.
