Create a Group
Creating groups is a way to categorise areas of interest for your users, where they can share information and ask questions to get support from other group members, providing an inclusive learning environment, similar to the class room learning.
- From the menu, select Admin > Manage Users > Manage Groups
- Click on Add New Group
- Type in a Group Name and Group Description in the relevant field
- Group Rule information will be displayed in a pop-up when a user attempts to join the Group, and they must click Agree to be able to join
- To add a Group Image, click on the Upload button and locate the image you wish to add
- To make the Group accessible to specific members, click on Add Assignment
- You’ll then be presented with a list of options so that you can assign the Group to a specific collection of users
- Click on the section to expand it and tick the checkbox next to the appropriate group of users
