Introduction

• The Data Validation area of HR can be used to provide an access point to custom reports and functionality which will generally have been created by Ciphr, eg a report which accesses tables which can not be achieved through the report designer functionality
• The contents of this Data Validation area can have security applied to ensure that specified user roles are able to access specified ‘templates’ as required

Note: In order to apply security to the “templates” on the Data Validation page, the HR User role must first be given page access to Data Validation Access and the Specialist Report. See the linked guide for help on granting page access.

Data Validation templates

• Once access has been provided there will be a Role Management Action called Data Validation.

• Having selected the option a list of the available ‘templates’ will be displayed showing the current accessibility for the selected user role
• As a user in the role, when clicking Reporting/Reports > Specialist Reports > Data Validation the accessible ‘templates’ will be available
