Setting up the Skills Analysis
Administrators set up a skills analysis by uploading a template and then assigning it using the rules engine. For instructions on how to do this, click the links below.
Running the Skills Analysis
Here's how to get started:
- From the menu, select Learning > Skills > Skills Analysis
- Click Start to launch the assigned Skills Analysis
- Rate your competency against each question using the slider or button
- Click Finish
Your results will be displayed along with a list of Recommended Learning based on your answers. If needed, you can then select Invite Manager for their feedback, or Invite 360° to send the assessment to a group of raters for a full 360° review.
Inviting your Manager
You can invite your manager once you've completed your skills assessment using the Start button. To send the assessment to your manager:
- From the menu, select Learning > Skills > Skills Analysis
- Select Invite Manager
- Search for the manager or select from the dropdown list
- Click Select
Your manager will receive an email letting them know they've been invited to complete a 180° review, along with a link to the Skills Assessment. Once they've completed it, you'll be notified by email and the status will change from Sent to Completed.
Inviting a Group for 360° Review
To send the assessment to a group of raters for a 360° review:
- From the menu, select Learning > Skills > Skills Analysis
- Click Invite 360
- Select whether the raters are Peers, Direct Reports or Others. This is the label that will appear on the Spider Diagram and the Assessment Report
- Search for users by typing their name or email address, then click Select
- Select the users
- Click Add
| Note: You need to select at least 3 raters to get an average 360 review, unless the default review number has been changed in the template. |
If a rater doesn't appear in the search, or you want to invite someone outside the LMS, enter their full name and email address.
- Click Add
- Once you've finished adding raters, click Update
Each rater will receive an email letting them know they've been invited to complete a 360° review, along with a link to the Skills Assessment.
