Assign the Skills Analysis template: the Rules Engine
This guide will show you how to assign a skills analysis template using the rules engine.
Firstly, see the guide on populating and uploading a skills analysis template
Once you have uploaded your skills analysis template, you can assign to to one or more employees using the Rules Engine:
- From the menu, select Admin > Advanced > Manage Rules
- Select Add Rule
- Add the Name and any Notes for your Rule
- Click on the Active toggle and add a Start Date and End Date if required
- Now add the Action for your Rule by clicking on the Add button
- Select Skills Analysis: Assign template for
- Select the relevant template and who this needs to be applied to, which in this case is the User
- To add a condition, click Add
- In this example, we are adding a condition so this is assigned to anyone who is a Sales Executive, so we select User structure for
- Select Job Role
- Click Sales Executive
- Select Is assigned
- Click Save
When a skills analysis has been assigned to an employee, they can then run their skills analysis - refer to our Running the skills analysis guide for instructions on how to do this.
