Released week commencing 20 July 2026.

This release makes it easier to find your way around past conversations with the AI Assistant, keeps the chat window tidier by default, and gives you a quick way to tell us how a response worked for you.

Updates

• Chat history: has been extended from 7 days to 90. Conversations older than 7 days are marked "Read-only" but can still be opened and reviewed, and hovering over any chat shows the date and time it took place. A "New chat" button lets you start a fresh conversation straight away.
• Chain of thought: (step-by-step reasoning) now starts collapsed by default, keeping your chat view tidy. If you expand it, that choice is remembered for the rest of your session.

• Feedback response: thumbs up/down icons added to let users flag what's working (and what isn't) - feeding directly into how we improve the assistant.

• Updated AI disclaimer: footer text updated to conform with the incoming EU AI Act, and now includes a link to our Trust Centre for more detail on how we use AI.
