Your LMS can send automated emails to learners at key points, such as booking confirmations and reminders. Before any of this works, email sending needs to be switched on in your system settings.

Turning on LMS emails
By default, LMS emails may be switched off. To enable them, go to Admin > Manage Settings > E-mails and turn on Send E-mails.
Once this is on, your LMS will start sending emails based on your notification settings.
Where LMS emails come from
Most emails sent from the LMS come from the admin system account on your platform. The sending address is training@digits.co.uk.
It's important that your IT team allows emails from the digits.co.uk domain, as LMS emails may be blocked by your organisation's email security if this domain isn't on your approved sender list. We recommend sharing this with your IT team so they can whitelist it before you go live.
Editing your default notifications
Your LMS comes with a set of default email notifications, covering things like booking confirmations. You can edit any of these to match your organisation's tone and messaging.
To find out how, visit our Notifications knowledge base guides. These walk you through editing notification content, managing triggers and setting up custom messages.
