Overview
The Dashboard view can be configured by selecting from a range of predefined widgets to determine what information is displayed, where and how. Widgets can also be created to display RSS feeds for example and bespoke information can be displayed if required.
To display the Dashboard
- The Dashboard, once configured and saved, will normally be visible on login
- If you want to display the Dashboard at any time click Dashboard or click on the organisation logo at the top
| Note: HR users can configure what widgets are available on the dashboard - see Dashboard Widget Configuration for more information. |

|
Tip: Click to follow the in-app guide on how to add widgets to your dashboard. This guide will show you the standard dashboard widgets and what information each of them present.
|
-
With the Dashboard on screen click on the cog icon which is at the top of your screen
-
This will expand the Dashboard tools
- Click on the plus sign to open the widget selector
- From the dropdown list, select the widget that you want to display and then use the sizing image to scale the widget to the size required. You can't size smaller than the red dotted lines or larger than the green lines.
- Click Add
- The widget will be displayed on screen and can be moved to the desired position by clicking and dragging the widget
|
Note: You can't resize the widget once it's been added. Click the bin to delete and re-add it if you wish to resize after adding. |
- Continue to add widgets as required until your dashboard is complete and then click on the tick icon to save the dashboard
- The cross icon will clear the entire Dashboard
- The cog icon toggles the Dashboard tools on and off
- If you have added a widget and then wish to clear just that widget, use the bin icon which appears in the top right of every widget displayed on screen. You can also use this method to delete and re-add a widget that you wish to resize
|
Notes: Some of the widgets may display with a padlock on them subject to being configured as Locked. This indicates that the data is sensitive. Click on it to view the details. It is important to remember to click on the tick icon to save your dashboard widgets selection and any subsequent changes must also be saved. |
