Making a Holiday Adjustment for a group of employees
- Go to Holiday & Absence> Absence Admin> Insert Bulk Holiday Adjustment
- Click on the Subset icon in the top right to select the affected group of employees
- The records will be displayed on screen
Warning: The Manual Holiday Adjustment column will display the current employee data, and any update will overwrite the current data so it is important to consider this when applying a bulk adjustment if employees have existing balances that need to be taken into account.
- In the Manual Holiday Adjustment field select the number of days (this can be a positive or negative number) and in the Manual Adjustment Reason enter the Manual Adjustment Reason for the change
- Click Preview Bulk Adjustment
- The holiday adjustment will be displayed in the Manual Holiday Adjustment column (overwriting any existing figure) to show their new adjustment figure and their Holiday Left will have been increased/decreased accordingly
- Verify that all the records are correct and then click Update
- You will be asked to further confirm the adjustment – click Yes
- Completion of the adjustment will then be confirmed – click OK
- Employee's holiday balances will be updated accordingly as the adjustment figure will be added/deducted from the overall entitlement to update the Holiday left field
- An Export to Excel button is available to download a list of records on the current page
Tip: The default number of records in view on a page can be amended via System Configuration > System Configuration > General Group > Grid Page Size – The number of rows in a Kendo grid.
To see the history of manual adjustments
- Go to Holiday & Absence> Absence Admin> Holiday Adjustment History
Note: Holiday adjustments in bulk cannot be reversed, therefore you need to ensure that your subset contains the correct employee records.
