Introduction
You can configure the look and feel of your HR system in the Branding configuration page in the following ways:
- Assign a name to your system that will appear in the navigation
- Upload your company logo
- Upload a favicon (the small icon that represents your system in the browser tab)
- Select a colour scheme that aligns with your company branding
- Choose a font
- Add a sign-in screen image
To apply branding in HR
- Go to System Configuration > Branding configuration
- The Default brand will be displayed. If you have Multi Entity configured then multiple brands may be displayed (see Multi entity branding section)
- The Default brand is linked to the Sign-in Admin area and can't be deleted. Changes made in this page or Sign-in Admin will apply the same updates. Please see the Sign-In Admin guide for more details
- Click into a brand to view the details
- Follow the steps and guidance listed on the left-hand side of the page and you can preview them on the right
- The preview area lets you see how text, buttons, and colours will appear on your site. As you make branding changes, the preview updates in real-time, allowing you to review and ensure you're happy before saving
System names
-
-
The full name will be used in the navigation and top bar of the product as highlighted
-
The short name will be used in the collapsed version.
-
Favicon
- This is a small image that appears in a browser's address bar, helping users identify the website.
Theme Base Theme Colour
- Click select colour and use the methods below to apply:
- Visual Colour Palette: Choose a colour by clicking on the palette
- Adjust with Sliders: Fine-tune the selected colour by moving sliders to adjust specific shades
- Eye Dropper Tool: Allows users to sample a colour from an image or another part of the screen
- RGB / HSL / Hex Input: Switch between these modes using the dropdown arrows and enter precise colour values
- You can play around with the settings, and preview how it will look, which won’t update until you click Save at the bottom to confirm. Branding will then be applied to your HR system
Note: Branding configuration will apply to the latest navigation only. If you are using the pre-2025 interface (new experience slider is not enabled) then the branding style configured by Ciphr will apply.
Multi entity branding
- If you have Multi entity configuration and wish to apply different branding per entity, this can be completed in the HR system via System Configuration > Branding configuration.
- The Default brand is the brand configured in the Sign-In Admin area and can't be deleted. This will apply to all users unless any Multi Entities are assigned to particular brands
- Click on a brand to edit, or you can click Clone to create a new one
- A Delete button will be present alongside branding with no Entities assigned
- Boxes at the top show the Name and which Multi Entities are assigned. Click in the Multi Entities box to select from the dropdown list to select the relevant entities
Once any branding changes have been previewed click Save at the bottom of the page to apply it to the relevant Entities.
