What is the SMCR module?
The SMCR module is an HR add-on that helps you manage and record:
- Record Senior Manager Functions (SMFs)
- Assign and track senior manager responsibilities
- Allocate certification functions to job roles and employees
- Produce and send Statements of Responsibilities (SORs)
- Issue and track regulatory reference requests record
- Record FCA Individual Reference Numbers (IRNs)
- Give compliance teams dedicated access to SMCR features
- Monitor progress through SMCR dashboards
Accessing SMCR features in HR
When SMCR is enabled for your organisation, you will see:
- Senior manager details tab in Personal details
- IRN number is recorded on the Employment details tab
- Certification functions tab in Job and Pay
- SMCR letters in the Letter Library
- Under the Employee Checks & Compliance menu are the SMCR and associated configuration pages
