The following is a list of currently tracked known issues affecting Ciphr iRecruit, each entry includes a brief description of the issue along with a suggested workaround if one has been identified.
This list is refreshed weekly and was last updated on 1st July 2026.
Filtering a job by the title where the filtered search contains two words will cause any jobs that contain these words in the title to be duplicated on the Applicants portal
Users are able to withdraw their applications after being rejected, causing rejected candidates to be reported as withdrawn candidates
Agency Recruiters not selected in status change emails
Cannot view submitted applications after application is moved
When an applicant's account is removed by the data retention function or anonymized, the offer details section does not get removed.
iRecruit shows a mandatory Date of Birth message when non UK date format provided in Application Form
When applying in Microsoft Edge with a newly created account, information entered on Generic Builder pages in iRecruit often doesn’t save. Clicking Save or Next appears to do nothing, preventing applicants from progressing through the form.
Workaround:
There’s no consistent workaround — sometimes the form saves after several attempts, but this is unreliable.
iRecruit API queries time out where date range of > 10 days is used
The default checked state for competency questions only functions when questions are added using Panel Shortlisting. This functionality does not apply when using the Competency Questions Job Add/Edit page.
Workaround:
When creating a job that does not use Panel Shortlisting, manually check or uncheck each competency question on the Competency Questions tab as required for the specific role.
