Overview
- Capturing Employee Sentiment enables you to track how your team is doing and enables you to hone in on anyone in need of support. As well as being able to configure the appearance of the sentiment ratings and the frequency at which employees are asked and it is possible to change the sentiment pop-up question
- This can be changed using the Language configuration
To change the Employee Sentiment question
- Go to the following area:
- Latest (left-hand) menu: System Configuration > Language Translation Configuration
- Pre-2025 (top) menu: System > System Configuration > Languages
- Click Export to the right of the en-GB record
- An Excel file named CIPHRLanguageTranslations_United_Kingdom_en-GB.xlsx will be created, which you will need to open and enable editing
- Open the Message Tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet
- In column B, find the label EMP_SENTIMENT_MESSAGE
- To make the changes, you will need to unprotect the sheet, which can be found in the Review menu
- The column where the question is located is in column D. Do not change the values in column C. To change the value in column D it is suggested that you reduce the widths of both column C and column D to 100 from 255
- Change the question in the correct row in column D as required
- Save the spreadsheet
- You can now go back to HR and the Language configuration page below and click Import from the en-GB record
- Select the file that has just been saved (you can also drag and drop onto the Select files... button) and click OK
- A page will show that one row has been processed, and the question, on refreshing the screen, will change
