Using the Test Company

Before, or while, you set up your company ready to run live payroll/s, you may wish to use a test company to see how the software works.

When you first sign up, you can choose to skip a lot of the questions and there's no need to enter correct or sensitive details. Once logged in, if you select My Account you will see an allocated test company. From here you can utilise the software, create new employees, submit test data, start new pay runs and create pension plans without impacting your live payroll/s. This can be a helpful way to get used to the system without lasting impact on the payroll system you're going to be using. Alternatively, you can use it alongside implementing/using the Ciphr Payroll system to test configuration and processes. 

There are two identifiers for test companies:

• An orange tag on your company list

• An orange banner across the top of the page. 

To get back to your own company click on the company logo ("Ciphr") or select "My Companies" and you will be taken back to your homepage list.
