RESOLUTION
There are some layers of security surrounding Personal Documents which have been implemented to ensure the appropriate members of staff are able to view the correct group of documents. The below guidance will walk you through each step of the configuration and allow you to troubleshoot this issue.
Troubleshooting:
Personal Document Slider Check:
System > Document Configuration > Personal Document Categories > Click into the Document Category you currently are unable to see. You will see the below form:
Ensure that the relevant access has been provided to the Employee or Manager:
Access to Employee – Allows the employee to access the document
Access to Manager – Allows the manager to access the document
The “Batch Update” can be used to update access for any historic documents
Personal Document Field Group Security Check:
System > Document Configuration > Personal Document Categories > Click into the Document Category you currently are unable to see and make a note of the “Security Field Group”:
Once you know the field group, navigate System > System Administration > Role Management > Select the User Role effected. From this menu, review the access in below tiles to ensure the role has access to the category:
Record & Field Group Security – the fields visible for certain record groups
Subordinate Field Group Security – the fields visible for your subordinates
Own Field Group Security – the fields visible for your own record
