This guide explains how to use the Reward Points feature in the Employee Directory to give kudos to colleagues in the HR system.

Introduction
Reward Points can be used to acknowledge employee performance and reward that performance with points. Employees who have been awarded Reward Points will then appear on the Reward Points Leaderboard.
Awarding Reward Points
The award of Reward Points takes place in the Employee Directory
- Choose Company > Employee Directory
- Use the selection options available to you to locate the name of the individual to whom Reward Points are to be given
- Click Search. The results will be displayed
- Click on the name of the person who is to receive the Reward Points
- A more detailed view of the employee record will be displayed
- Click on the green thumb icon and record the reward points Reason and Detail
Note: Write access to the Employee Directory is required to see the green thumb and be able to give reward points. |
- Click Submit
- Click on the Reward Points total to view the date and reasons for awards being made
Reward Points Leaderboard
- Choose Company > Rewards Points Leaderboard
- Use the date selection options to view the period you would like to see, ie Overall, Last Month, This Month
- You can also click on the green thumb icon and record the reward points Reason
and Detail
- Click Submit
Note: The reasons for reward will need to be created in the Reward Reasons code table. |
System Configuration settings
Within System Configuration there are options to customise Reward Points (System Administrator licence required).
Disable Reward Points
You can turn off Reward Points if you don't wish to use it. Filter the Name to Contains Reward
You can hide reward points completely or choose to hide it from the Employee Dashboard in Talent Management/Performance & Development.
Anonymise/Restrict Reward Points
There are also options in the Employee Kudos Group that can be enabled to:
- Allow anonymous reward points
- Hide the detail field so points are just rewarded with a Reason from the dropdown list but there will be no option to provide any Detail.
