To see the history of manual adjustments
Introduction
There may be occasions where you may need to make a one-off change to the holiday entitlement for an employee, eg change of office location and the provision of time off for moving house.
Making a Manual Holiday Adjustment for an employee
- Ensuring that you have the required employee record in view go to the following area:
- Latest menu: Holidays & Absence > Absence Summary
- Pre 2025 menu: People Admin> Time Management> Absence Summary Totals
- The holiday and absence year information will be displayed for the selected
employee - Click Change Holiday Entitlement
- The Holiday Entitlement summary for that employee will be displayed
- From here you can change the Holiday Entitlement scheme that the employee is
on. Change the Holiday BF value and adjust the entitlement - In the Manual Adjustment field enter the adjustment value and reason as
required - Click Update
- The total values for that employee will be updated
- The value will also be reflected in the Book & View Time Off and Absence Planner/Calendar summary chart for the employee
To see the history of manual adjustments
Go to the following area:
- Latest menu: Holidays & Absence > Absence Administration > Holiday Adjustment History
- Pre 2025 menu: People Admin> Time Management> Holiday Adjustment History
Note: To reduce manual data entry, adjustments can be made to groups of employees via: |
Note: The Manual Holiday Adjustment is a current balance field, and any update will overwrite the current data so it is important to consider this when applying an individual or bulk adjustment, if employees have an existing balance that needs to be taken into account. |
